Customer Service & Contracts Administrator Are you a people-person who loves solving problems, staying organised, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re on the lookout for a confident and capable Customer Service & Contracts Administrator to support our waste services contracts with our local council. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role where no two days are the same – one minute you’re helping a resident understand why their bin wasn’t collected, the next you're working with operations to investigate an issue or update key stakeholders. What you’ll be doing: Acting as the first point of contact - answering calls, handling complaints, and resolving bin-related queries and service requests (damaged bins, wheel repairs, missed collections, etc.) Investigating and escalating issues, reviewing footage, and collaborating with different internal teams and council workers. Logging and updating information in both internal and external systems Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders – you'll be the glue that holds everything together Providing key data for reports and helping interpret stats – don’t worry, you don’t need to build the reports, just make sense of the data Who you are: You’re experienced in both customer service and administration – you know your way around a spreadsheet and a stakeholder conversation. You’re a people person – building rapport comes naturally, and you're calm and solutions-focused You’re used to working in a busy environment and can juggle multiple tasks with a smile You enjoy problem solving, follow issues through to resolution, and care about getting the details right Experience working with councils or in utilities?
