About the role We are pleased to inform you that Orica is searching for a Payroll Design Analyst (contractual role) to join our team at our Melbourne office with a hybrid working arrangement. The Payroll Design Analyst will work with key business stakeholders to enable design and award interpretation outcomes for Orica’s payroll implementation across at least three countries, including Australia, LATAM, Canada, and the Philippines, with a focus on understanding the respective legislations. The role's expertise extends to interpreting payroll and enterprise agreements, demonstrating a thorough understanding of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations. As a Payroll Design Analyst you will provide support to the design lead, tasked with ownership and delivery of the programs global design principals, along with helping drive the interpretation process in select countries. What you will be doing Form a key part of the design team delivering Orica’s payroll implementation Enable payroll interpretation outcomes across three countries, including Australia, LATAM, Canada, and the Philippines, with a focus on understanding the respective legislations. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations. Work alongside with the regional team on payroll requirements and standardized everything globally. What you will bring Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll or payroll related roles. Experience working across a minimum of 3 country payroll legislations (AU, LATAM, Canada, PH) – one of these or more – understanding the legislations. Experience with payroll and enterprise agreement interpretation. Knowledge of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
