From assessments through to closure, Jacobs is well placed to support them on that journey. As the Senior Electrical Designer , you will be responsible for working as part of our Resources team to provide and lead design services, technical input and direction in design to assist with the development and execution of growth strategies that will lead to the growth of Jacobs resources business within ANZ and globally. This role will focus on leading the design aspects in support of the pursuit and delivery of key opportunities within the resources sector. The primary focus of the role will be (but not limited to): • Collaborate with project teams to design for a range of resources projects. • Conduct feasibility studies, perform calculations, and create detailed engineering designs. • Identify and select appropriate mechanical equipment, components, and systems based on project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications. • Overseeing design and checking drawings and deliverables for compliance with client expectations, standards, specifications and procedures. • Liaising with relevant disciplines to ensure design coordination of multi-disciplined projects. • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors, to coordinate Electrical Design activities. • Maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation • Identify opportunities for improvement in Electrical design systems, equipment, and processes.
