The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to be involved in various engineering projects. Based at our head office in Wattleup, you should come with a strong desire to learn new skills ranging from reverse engineering of crusher parts, developing repair drawings as well as getting involved in various areas of machine design. Duties & Responsibilities Be involved in several Engineering projects simultaneously; Reverse engineering of crusher parts and other mining equipment; Use of high tech measuring equipment (Laser Scanners and CMM's); Generate/Approve designs and manufacturing drawings as required; Liaise with internal clients to ensure Scope is understood and delivered; Have a solutions based approach specific to customer requirements; Develop strong relationships with existing customers and colleagues; Produce drawings to a high standard within desired time frames. Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to safety and adhere to applicable standards. About You Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer Experience working within the mining / quarry industry Experience with Crushers and/or Process Machinery Experience in machine design and fabrication processes.
