Real Estate & Property Facilities Manager Brisbane Permanent / Full Time Posted: 20/5/2025 $116,000-$116,000 p/a Previous operations/maintenance experience required sub-regional shopping centre well-established landlord Property Network of Australia is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to support the ongoing operations of a busy sub-regional shopping centre in Brisbane. Working for a well-established landlord, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day operational functions while ensuring the centre is maintained to the highest standard. We are seeking an individual with previous or current experience in an operational or maintenance-style role within a retail or commercial property environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all operational procedures and preventative maintenance programs are implemented in line with company policy and WHS requirements Coordinate and supervise contractors across essential services including cleaning, security, HVAC, lifts, pest control, and fire systems Respond to incidents and emergencies, including after-hours callouts, and implement appropriate follow-up actions Monitor and manage risk exposure through proactive inspections and incident reporting Oversee the presentation of the centre and ensure all equipment, systems, and finishes are maintained within budget Support tenancy coordination processes, including fitout approvals and compliance Manage sustainability initiatives to reduce wastage and improve efficiencies Liaise closely with the Centre Manager and other stakeholders to ensure operational excellence is achieved The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience in operations or facilities management, ideally within a retail shopping centre environment Proven ability to manage external contractors and service providers A strong understanding of risk, compliance, and workplace health and safety legislation Budget management experience within an operations or maintenance context Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach If you think this role is for you and you have the required experience (as detailed above) then please do not hesitate to contact Eddie Reed by submitting your CV and a covering letter and they will be in touch with more information on the role and our client.
