About the Job With significant investment in Electrical Projects (LV and HV) in the RD24/28 Program, this role will ensure new and upgraded SA Water infrastructure meets the required delivery outcomes and customer service level and to support optimal construction delivery with regards time, quality and cost through promotion of efficiency and innovation, safety and environmental best practice, including resource leadership, direction and capacity building. About Sustainable Infrastructure The Sustainable Infrastructure group is dedicated to maximising value for customers and the community by developing innovative and optimised infrastructure plans, and overseeing the planning, construction, delivery, and maintenance of water and sewerage assets across the state and business. Your responsibilities for this opportunity Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. You will: Oversee construction delivery, including commissioning, testing, and project close-out across electrical projects (LV and HV) Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, safety protocols, and environmental requirements Conduct design reviews, safety walks, and site inspections to monitor quality and progress Provide technical input into contract documentation, specifications, and performance management Liaise with internal teams and external partners including contractors, suppliers, regulators, and consultants Drive innovation, manage risks, and promote cost-effective solutions in construction methodologies Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent experience in construction/project delivery Proven experience in electrical infrastructure projects, including commissioning and quality assurance Strong working knowledge of construction safety and environmental standards High-level communication and stakeholder management skills, including conflict resolution Familiarity with tools such as iAuditor and project management systems Ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple sites, including remote areas Further information can be found in the attached PD – Construction Technical Manager - Electrical.pdf To apply, click 'Apply'.
