We don’t just build structures—we build legacies. ️ ABOUT THE ROLE As a Project Engineer , you will support the execution of complex civil and structural works, working alongside a skilled project delivery team. This role is ideal for professionals with demonstrated experience in civil construction, project planning, and commercial performance. ✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking candidates who have: Recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in civil infrastructure, construction, or mining/resource projects. Prior experience in hard dollar contracting, structural concrete, and civil works. Proven commercial capabilities in forecasting, budget management, EOM processes, and cost tracking. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders. A preference to be Gladstone-based, although FIFO/DIDO arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Project Engineer, your core duties will include: Interpreting, planning, coordinating, and administering construction engineering activities in accordance with project specifications. Assisting the Senior Project Engineer and/or Project Lead in the preparation of accurate monthly reports. Managing short and medium-term construction planning, including Workpacks, start-up planning, and programming. Tracking and analysing KPIs and productivity against program schedules and budget constraints. Coordinating procurement and construction components for designated work areas. Monitoring on-site resources, materials, supplier deliveries, and construction progress in collaboration with site supervisors. Applying engineering principles to ensure compliance with technical criteria and scope of works (SWTC). Supporting the development and maintenance of project Quality Assurance processes as per the Quality Management Plan. Assisting in the implementation and ongoing management of Safety and Environmental procedures aligned with the Safety Management Plan, including subcontractor and workforce oversight.
