With offices across the Top End, our work is grounded in cultural respect, community collaboration, and self-determination. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Administration Manager to lead and support the administrative operations of our Darwin and Katherine offices. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for supervising a small team of admin staff, refining processes, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring smooth operations across both sites. This role is central to delivering high-quality internal support services that enable frontline legal and social support teams to thrive. You will be a hands-on leader who models a positive workplace culture, mentors staff, and builds efficient, compliant, and respectful systems that support the unique needs of NAAFLS programs and clients. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a capable and collaborative administration team Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance planning for admin staff Oversee data integrity in the client management system (Actionstep) Support compliance, risk management, and strong administrative systems Collaborate with program teams to enhance client intake and support processes Model and promote a culturally safe, values-driven workplace across both offices Provide direct administrative support when required and encourage a flexible, team-based approach Selection Criteria Essential Strong administration skills with recent, relevant experience Proven team leadership and mentoring capabilities Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication Highly organised, with strong problem-solving and time management skills A positive, professional, and team-focused leadership approach Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems Willingness to undertake professional development NT Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain) NT Driver Licence and satisfactory Criminal History Check Desirable Experience using Actionstep or similar client data systems Understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practices How to Apply Applications Close: Monday 09 June 2025!
