All of your work will be completed on site and involve;- Carrying out electrical and mechanical (where possible) fault finding and emergency corrective repairs on Ship To Shore Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Automatic Stacking Cranes, Straddle Carriers, Bromma Spreaders and other mobile plant at the ports Carrying out statutory checks and audits on machinery Carrying out PM servicing as required and general electrical duties as required Electrical upgrades and new equipment installs where needed Your value You will be a trade qualified electrician with a well-rounded knowledge of electrical fault finding and repairs on fixed and mobile plant in an industrial/ heavy electrical environment. Electrical trade qualification Hydraulic and mechanical knowledge (highly regarded) An excellent attitude towards work with proven ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Working knowledge and use of electrical schematics and diagrams Previous experience in industrial spaces, mining, oil and gas or other heavy environments Port experience is hight regarded however not essential Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and NPC This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position.
