About the role We are currently accepting applications for a Warehouse Worker to join the team based in Grafton. The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the efficient and safe handling of Network stores and materials, and includes the primary functions of receiving, storing, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery of stores and material, ensuring a safe, smooth and efficient workflow within the warehousing and multi-tiered stores system. Some key accountabilities of the role will include: Undertake the primary functions of receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatch of stores and materials in an efficient and safe manner. Use appropriate handling and packaging equipment to prepare shipments for safe delivery to regional depots. Carry out stock check activities as required and identify and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor. Carry out housekeeping duties on a daily basis to ensure a clean, safe and efficient working environment. Carry out regular inspections of all manual handling plant and equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose to maintain an accident-free workplace. Provide exceptional customer service. Ahere to all company procedures and policies and safety standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability and willingness to work overtime and away from home as required. Safely operate heavy combination vehicles in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations (where applicable). Delivering to multiple depots which includes unloading and loading freight (where applicable). Conduct pre trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer are road worthy (where applicable). Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation (where applicable). Required Qualifications Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications. Drivers Licence. Forklift Licence.
