As a Field Sales Engineer, you will effectively manage, promote and grow the sales of specific Rosemount products and services within nominated Customer Segments in the QLD/PNG region. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Pro-actively build and maintain effective business relationships with nominated customer segments operating within the region. Provide a high level of customer contact via predominately face to face as well as phone, email, video, and other digital media Work with the Sales Support, Customer Care & MANZAT teams to provide quotations for products. Follow up on quotations and win orders. Generate new opportunities through customer dialog and demand creation activities (presentations, integrated marketing, industry events, social media, etc.) Proactively research and develop business plans to grow sales and services in the nominated customer segment Conduct analysis and research to gain a full understanding of the customer base and keep abreast of any changes to the market, competitors, technology and the industry in general Develop and implement sales plans for the nominated customers and industries in the region. Review, evaluate and report on sales activities and initiatives Ensure there is a strong brand awareness within the nominated customer segment through marketing, advertising and demand creation activities Utilise CRM, Outlook, Toolkit and other supporting infrastructure and business processes as directed Identify and escalate opportunities to sell other Rosemount or Emerson products. Take details and forward to the appropriate Sales team members Who You Are: You readily act on challenges, without unnecessary planning. Takes a proactive approach to craft and influence customer expectations and maintains a positive attitude and forward-thinking approach despite troubling circumstances or setbacks.
