Support Worker – Life Skills & Community Access (Alexandria, NSW) Montessori Care is seeking a proactive, reliable, and engaging support worker to assist a male adult NDIS participant based in Alexandria. This role is ideal for someone passionate about empowering others to live independently, with a focus on life skills, companionship, and community participation. About the Role: You will be supporting an active and friendly participant with a moderate intellectual disability, who is largely independent but benefits from guidance, structure, and occasional reminders for daily tasks. The support worker will assist with: Life administration (basic cooking, household chores, errands) Personal routines and reminders (e.g., morning hygiene, toileting prompts) Social and community activities (e.g., walks, bike rides, appointments, shopping) Who We’re Looking For: A support worker who is proactive, energetic, and respectful Comfortable with both community access and light personal care tasks Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to varying intellectual and emotional needs Reliable and preferably located near Alexandria or surrounding suburbs Open to a long-term commitment (1–2 years preferred) Holds or willing to obtain: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR certification Why Join Montessori Care?
