The company As part of a Nationally recognised pump and irrigation products and design retail group, this organisation is a one stop shop for industry related items such as pumps, filtration systems, pipe and fittings and has proudly supported its local community for the past 25 years. Having experienced steady growth, they are now seeking to appoint a retail and practically skilled allrounder to support walk-in and online sales. The position As the Retail Allrounder you will be required to work across a variety of areas, from front counter retail and online sales, warehouse dispatch, liaise with the service department, maintain the presentation of the showroom and generally support the entire team where required. As you grow in your role, you will be required to prepare general quotations, source products and deal with suppliers. Although product training is provided, a limited understanding of plumbing, pump or irrigation products would be an advantage in the role. Duties include: Retails and online sales of products and parts Operate point of sale, data enter and prepare invoices Maintain the retail sales area Liaise with suppliers and source items As required provided support for other staff Pick and pack items for dispatch Skills & experience required: Have some level of either pump, irrigation or plumbing products knowledge Retail industrial sales experience PoS, Excel and Microsoft based system experience Sound verbal written communication skills Can multitask and prioritise work activities Have a proactive and supportive approach Benefits: Nationally recognised industry group Product training and mentorship Generous hourly based on your skills and abilities Family orientated work culture Work variety – no day is the same How to apply Click APPLY and provide an up-to-date copy of your resume.
