SPRING RACING CARNIVAL STAFF Be a part of the race that stops the nation! PERSOKELLY is hiring enthusiastic and reliable Customer Service Staff for the 2025 Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. Working in a fast-paced public arena over all four days of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival, you will be assisting patrons with placing bets while providing exceptional customer service. Your job will involve: Taking and processing bets Operating wagering (betting) terminals Overseeing 'Stand alone' EBT (Electronic Betting Terminals) machines Providing excellent customer service Cash handling Benefits include: Working at the iconic Flemington Racecourse Great pay, including paid training (starting at $33.96 per hour and public holiday penalty rates) Support from experienced Operators You will need to attend two training sessions during late August / early September (morning, afternoon and evening sessions available), be able to work all four carnival race days at Flemington Racecourse (see dates below) and pass a police check. Derby Day - Saturday 1st November Melbourne Cup Day - Tuesday 4th November Crown Oaks Day - Thursday 6th November Champions Stakes Day - Saturday 8th November There will also be other opportunities to work at races across Victoria during the Carnival season.
