We are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to lead our dynamic team and oversee all aspects of store operations. Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum Role: Full time Location: Wagga Wagga NSW 2650 Main Duties: ·Plan, organise, and oversee the daily operations of the coffee house to ensure efficient, smooth, and customer-focused service in line with franchise and brand standards. ·Develop and implement local marketing and promotional strategies to maximise sales, customer engagement, and profitability. ·Manage product selection, seasonal offerings, inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation to meet customer demand and minimise waste. ·Monitor financial performance by analysing sales, profit margins, and operating expenses; prepare and manage budgets and implement cost control measures to achieve financial targets. ·Recruit, train, coach, roster, and manage staff performance, including conducting appraisals and resolving workplace issues to maintain a motivated and high-performing team. ·Maintain accurate operational records and prepare regular reports on sales, stock levels, staffing, and other key performance indicators for senior management. ·Ensure delivery of excellent customer service, handle customer feedback, and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction and loyalty. ·Foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with franchise agreements and quality standards. ·Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with franchise policies, workplace health and safety legislation, food safety regulations, and other relevant laws. ·Uphold workplace health, safety, hygiene, and employment standards consistently to provide a safe and compliant working environment. Skills & Qualifications: ·Minimum diploma degree in business/hospitality or related field. ·At least 1-2 years of proven managerial experience in a busy retail or café environment, including team leadership. ·Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service excellence, and inventory management. ·Financial acumen, including budgeting, sales analysis, and cost control. ·Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. ·Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management abilities. ·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. ·Knowledge of Australian retail standards, health, and safety regulations is an advantage.
