Retail Manager — Canning Vale, Canning Area

The NMK Group WA PTY LTD is a family owned business that takes part in commission based businesses with Australian owned and operated major branded fuel retailers. The NMK Group WA PTY LTD South of the River store is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team. As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store located in South of the River. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs efficiently and provides an exceptional customer experience. The Ideal Candidate If you have a drive for excellent customer-service, are a team player, positive and energetic and love to have fun, we want to hear from you. To be successful, you will have: Previous customer-service experience, preferably in retail Background working in the food/hospitality industry, fast food experience an added plus Positive energy and great attitude Willingness to learn Sound communication and interpersonal skills Availability to work roaster-based shifts. All Applicants must have the full time working rights to work in Australia. Responsibilities: Reporting to the company director, your key responsibilities will include however are not limited to: Manage and lead a team of console operators, including scheduling, training, and performance management Oversee all store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall store performance Ensure the store is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement Collaborate with the director, store head office officials to implement corporate initiatives and best practices Analyse store data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions. What we’re looking for: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery or food retail industry Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost management Exceptional customer service orientation and a passion for providing a positive customer experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders Minimum 1 year of experience in retail systems and technologies, including point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management software. Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred) A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
