Reporting to the Building Support Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing overall construction team performance against key performance indicatorsProviding coaching and assessing the performance of Site Managers on siteAdhering to Metricon’s building practices and procedures and looking to further improve upon themMaximising workflow through efficient systems, including trade retention and allocation and supplier managementImplementing effective project management with a cost imperative in mindAssuring trades/suppliers are working on each job every day to drive profitabilityEnsuring all homes are constructed to display homes standards as a minimum; andFostering a work culture where customer experience, teamwork and staff development are paramount. The successful candidate will have: Proven experience working as a Construction Manager or an experienced Site Manager wanting to step upExtensive experience from within the volume or boutique home industry with a proven understanding of building regulations and standardsProven commercial skills in managing trades, suppliers and project budgetsLeadership qualities which have resulted in the development of others and a high performance teamA strong customer service ethic, and the ability to creatively solve technical building mattersAn ability to manage an OH&S program; andA tertiary qualification in Building /Construction and/or related discipline is highly desirable.
