Customer Service Representative | 6-Month Contract | North Sydney $36.11 p/h Super 9 Month Contract/Part Time Casino (Onsite) About the Role As a Customer Service Representative , you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with government services. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality support, resolve inquiries, and provide accurate information on a wide range of services. Whether customers are accessing essential services or navigating complex systems, you’ll play a key role in ensuring they have a positive experience. Key accountabilities include: Respond to customer inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, in-person) with professionalism, courtesy, and accuracy. Provide clear and accurate information about government services, including licences, permits, registrations, and payments. Assist customers in completing applications and forms, guiding them through processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and efficiently, escalating to the appropriate team or department as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government policies, procedures, and services to provide informed assistance. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets, contributing to the overall success of the Service Centre. About You Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and problem resolution. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers. A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex information accurately. Previous customer service experience, preferably in a contact centre or similar fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve team goals. A commitment to delivering high-quality service to the people of NSW. During your training, you will be required to travel to either Penrith or Coffs Harbour for two distinct programs and platforms training sessions each spanning five consecutive days.
