We are seeking sessional markers to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marking and providing feedback on assignments for our counselling and social work programs. This role is crucial in maintaining the academic standards and supporting the progression of our students. To find out more about us, please visit https://www.aipc.net.au/ About the role Independent Contractor role Remote working Key Responsibilities: Mark assignments and exams for Bachelors, Masters, and Diploma courses in counselling and social work. Provide constructive and timely feedback to students to support their academic development. Ensure consistency and fairness in marking according to the provided rubrics and guidelines. Collaborate with course coordinators and lecturers to ensure alignment with course objectives and standards. Maintain accurate records of student grades and feedback. Participate in training sessions and meetings as required. Qualifications: A relevant qualification in counselling, social work or a related field. Previous experience in marking assignments or teaching in higher education is highly desirable. Strong understanding of academic standards and assessment criteria. Excellent written communication skills. Ability to provide constructive and supportive feedback. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
