About the Opportunity As our Senior Asset Engineer - Buildings, you’ll be responsible for: Planning capital works and preventative maintenance programs Critically assessing community demand and expectations across the building asset portfolio Leading condition assessments, works scoping, and contractor management. Providing professional support and advice to stakeholders You’ll deliver projects and asset management strategies that keep our community spaces thriving and functional, now and into the future. What We Offer Permanent, Full-Time position – 70 hours per fortnight. Competitive salary from $110,031.86 to $127,488.43 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation . 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance . What We’re Looking For We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven individual who brings the following qualifications and experience: Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or equivalent experience. Registered Professional Engineer (or eligibility for registration under NSW laws). Current Class C Driver’s Licence and Construction Induction (White Card). Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in asset management and project management. Strong background in managing consultants and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Expertise in risk allocation, WHS management, and compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of forward works programming, financial control, and budget preparation. Proficiency in PC applications and a strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
