What You'll Do at Pega: You will transform complex technical concepts into compelling demonstrations that showcase the full potential of Pega's platform. Working at the intersection of technology and business, you will create proof of concepts that demonstrate how our solutions can revolutionize our clients' operations. Your work will directly influence major sales opportunities and contribute significantly to Pega's continued growth and market leadership. - Own the design and development of software prototypes for potential customers and partners - Lead "Proof of Concept" engagements at customer sites to investigate the viability of implementing Pega solutions within a prospective customer's existing technical environment (typically onsite) - Present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to prospective clients in conjunction with the sales team - Drive technical thought leadership and best practices for demo builds and solution positioning across the entire sales team - Develop innovative new uses for Pega technology and feed these back into the product Who You Are: You enjoy solving programs and have a background in building and enhancing complex business applications. You are highly skilled in object-oriented programming but are looking for a role where you can interact with clients and have more of an impact on business outcomes. Although you might not have experience working as part of a sales team, you have more to offer beyond writing code. You have a demonstrated drive for results and thrive as part of a collaborative team. What You've Accomplished: You are a technical expert who enjoys solving complex problems and has extensive experience building enterprise applications. You have strong skills in object-oriented programming but are looking for a role with greater client interaction and business impact. You thrive in collaborative environments, demonstrate a drive for results, and can explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. You bring at least 8 years of experience in analysis, design, development, and deployment of enterprise application systems. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in JAVA, J2EE and/or .NET technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, database design, SQL, XML, and integration technologies. You understand complex data relationships and rules-based systems, and you have experience leading small development teams. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably in computer science. Experience with CRM, BPM, Business Rules Engines, or Analytics technologies is advantageous, as is experience with application servers and Linux.
