Suppling a variety of manual/actuated valve options to main end users in the water and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, manufacturing, and irrigation industries The Role This role is ideal for someone with exceptional communication skills, confident and driven with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A background in mechanical engineering would be beneficial as this role can be quite technical. Product training will be provided but there will be a need to upskill yourself on some products Assisting with technical sales enquiries involving prices, stock availability, outstanding orders, credit requests and any related quality issues. responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer enquiries and orders Resolving all customer issues and complaints in a prompt and efficient manner, and in accordance with the QA policies. Facilitating the entry, printing, and distribution of customer sales orders. Maintaining and updating customer records as well as processing customer enquiries and orders Maintaining a high level of customer to exceed t customer expectations and service level agreements. Assisting with month end reporting as required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Master in-depth product and technical knowledge to offer the best solutions to customers. About You We are looking for a candidate who is confident and can work without supervision. To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills: Previous experience in an internal sales / customer service role An excellent customer service focus and an ability to manage multiple enquiries in a timely manner Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in developing accurately written documents Ability to upsell and close a deal Strong time management skills and an ability to work i in a fast-paced environment Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications Key Selection Criteria A background in mechanical engineering would be beneficial Previous sales and customer service skills A strong understanding of CRM systems.
