We are looking for a passionate cloud technologist for our client who cares deeply about scalable, secure, and future-ready infrastructure. We're currently partnering with a long-standing partner to find a Senior Cloud Engineer who thrives in complex, hybrid environments and loves solving operational challenges at scale. A proactive team player who works with initiative and is happy to pitch in where is needed to get things done. What you’ll be responsible for… You’ll lead the charge in designing, deploying, and governing resilient cloud infrastructure. You’ll champion operations guardrails—security, cost, compliance, and observability. You’ll manage HA, DR, and backup strategies across hybrid environments. You’ll collaborate with DevOps and Architecture teams to embed IaC and CI/CD best practices. You’ll own cloud monitoring using Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and more. You’ll mentor junior engineers, lead incident response, and drive SLO/SLAs with purpose. What you’ll bring to the role… Your deep experience across AWS and Azure cloud environments. Your expertise in Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, and hybrid system management. Your mastery of IaC with AWS CDK (TypeScript), Terraform, Python, or PowerShell. Your understanding of cloud security—IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance. Your ability to design scalable, cost-optimised infrastructure with FinOps mindset. Your scripting fluency (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and your hands-on CI/CD knowledge with Octopus Deploy. Bonus points if you have… Certifications like AWS DevOps Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect. Experience in SOC 2, ISO 27001, or multi-cloud governance. A background in Linux systems or Windows licensing in cloud environments. Hands-on cloud migration experience.
