Sales Manager - Automotive Parts — Perth, Perth Region

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee a team of six internal sales and customer service staff within a busy automotive parts environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring fast, accurate responses to customer enquiries and driving the overall performance of the internal sales team. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong technical sales or automotive background and be passionate about creating a positive customer experience with every interaction. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of six staff across parts interpretation and customer service Ensure customer enquiries are handled with urgency and accuracy Track team performance, resolve bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with warehouse, dispatch, and external sales teams to ensure smooth order flow Monitor key service metrics, including DIFOT, customer satisfaction (NPS), quote conversion rate, and on-time case completion Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and accountability to support team development Key Requirements Proven leadership experience within internal sales, customer service, or parts Strong understanding of automotive parts interpretation and quoting processes Ability to coach team members while maintaining high service standards A proactive, structured approach to improving systems and driving results Confident working across departments including sales and operations This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, privately owned business with a strong team culture.
