Position: Level 2 Engineer Location: West Perth Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Job Type: Permanent Position Overview: A dynamic and growing managed services provider is seeking a skilled Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join their Perth-based team. This is a hands-on role delivering a mix of remote and on-site support across a diverse client base, ranging from startups to large corporates. Perks: Great working culture with experienced tech experts to learn from Paid birthday leave and additional leave incentives Staff discounts on IT hardware and accessories Career progression and internal leadership pathways Regular team social events and celebrations Performance rewards and structured training programs Company laptop and mobile phone provided Role Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 support to clients across various industries, remotely and on-site Escalate and resolve complex IT issues while maintaining excellent customer service Assist with and occasionally lead implementation projects and migrations Troubleshoot and maintain IT environments, networks, and cloud infrastructure Perform Microsoft 365 and SharePoint migrations and configurations Collaborate closely with Level 1 Engineers, offering mentorship and support Maintain accurate documentation within PSA and RMM systems Stay current on cybersecurity practices and apply them across client environment Technical Requirements: Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server 2019/2022 Strong knowledge of firewalls, networking (VLANs, VPNs, LAN/WAN), and switch configurations Familiarity with Fortinet solutions, Veeam, and Datto (RMM, backup, networking) Proficient in using PSA tools (e.g., Halo PSA) and automation utilities Exposure to all types of IT hardware – desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and cloud-to-on-prem migrations Basic cybersecurity knowledge highly regarded To Succeed in THIS Role: 2 years of IT support experience or strong customer service background in a technical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Willingness to travel to client sites as required (transport provided) We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
