Role Responsibilities: Lead IT Projects: Plan, execute, and oversee IT infrastructure projects – from cloud migrations to complex deployments. Be the Technical Expert: Act as the senior escalation point for tricky tech issues that require advanced problem-solving. Client Support: Provide top-notch consulting and support to clients, ensuring their systems run smoothly. Systems Administration: Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Servers, and Exchange Servers. Network & Security: Implement and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and SD-WAN solutions. Data Protection: Oversee backup and disaster recovery systems to keep data safe and accessible. Mentor & Train: Share your expertise with junior team members and foster a culture of learning. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client environments and technical processes. Role Requirements: Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Servers. Strong networking expertise – routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN technology. A knack for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, etc.). Familiarity with PSA and RMM tools like ConnectWise or N-able. Excellent communication skills – able to translate tech-speak into plain English. A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Relevant certifications like MCSE, CCNA, or Azure Fundamentals are a plus. Valid C Class Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance.
