Contract Opportunity: Azure Cloud Engineer (Multi-Cloud | DevOps | Automation) Location: Sydney/WFH Hybrid Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension) Start: ASAP Are you a skilled Cloud Engineer who thrives in complex environments and loves working across both Azure and AWS platforms? We’re on the lookout for a driven and hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer to join a high-performing team on a contract basis. What You'll Be Doing: You’ll play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions across Azure and AWS environments. This role involves platform engineering, DevOps tooling, infrastructure automation, and cloud architecture design in a fast-paced, Agile environment. What We're Looking For: Strong Azure Engineering expertise , with deep knowledge across AD, Networks, DNS, Storage, and Security Hands-on AWS experience , with core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, DNS, VPC, Lambda Expertise in AWS security , including IAM, encryption, compliance, auditing, and incident response Proficiency in AWS platform management best practices – including Control Tower, organization structure, security assessment & remediation, policy implementation, cost and performance monitoring Automation first mindset – strong scripting and automation experience using Terraform , CloudFormation , Python , Bash , etc. Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures Comfortable working with GitLab , GitHub , and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions) Solid experience in Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps culture Nice to Have: Certification(s) in Azure or AWS Exposure to hybrid cloud or migration projects Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments Why Join Us?
