Our client is seeking an Senior Production Engineer, and Production Engineer to join their team. In this role you will play a leading role in delivering the production goals and safe working environment on this established Gold Mine. Responsibilities: Produce and deliver mine plans – Stope Notes, Drill plans, Charge plans, Tele-remote plans and Mining Instructions. Ensure all plans are delivered to Operations team which are practical and executable. Oversee, train and mentor Mine production team. Maintain Daily spatial compliance of Operating Key performance areas. Communicate the mine production plans to all relevant personnel to foster awareness of targets and directions for the Mining Operation. Incorporate feedback across all horizons of the operation into the designs. Liaise with all aspects of operations to ensure communication of production plans Assist with End of Month operational Reporting and reconciliations Ensure the drill and blast procedures are up to date and provide optimum balance between safe and economical production. Carry out project work under the direction of the Planning Superintendent/Senior Engineers. Ensure the geological and survey departments are informed of the operation’s requirements and priorities towards drill and blast. Ensure CMS surveys occur when scheduled. Knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations. Requirements: Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. National Police Check meeting the requirements of the business. Current Unencumbered “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence. Desired: Proven relevant experience in the mining industry. Underground production experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine. Significant experience in all production processes. Experience in all aspects of mine design (lateral/vertical development and production). Intermediate experience using Deswik suite software. First Class Mine Manager’s Ticket desirable. Strong communication skills, ability to speak with all levels within the organisation. Displays a proactive and flexible approach to work and tasks. Excellent organisational and analytical skills Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
