The Role As an Area Sales Manager based in Perth, you will drive revenue targets, forge strategic client relationships, and introduce Weatherford's comprehensive portfolio of products and services across the customer matrix. This role includes general management duties and may involve serving as a signatory for the local entity regarding legislative and financial matters. Key Responsibilities - Maintain safety, security, and compliance as top priorities across all business areas, upholding exemplary business principles in accordance with FCPA and corporate policies. - Drive consistent and effective use of available software (SFDC, SharePoint, XAIT-Porter) while developing and executing strategic sales campaigns. - Deliver positive commercial results through strong negotiating skills, resulting in significant continuous improvements in margin performance. - Lead tender management processes and obtain final approval for all client submissions in conjunction with the Geozone VP. - Develop and execute an effective Client Engagement Plan to enhance profitability by expanding Weatherford's provision of products and services. - Build an efficient, cohesive, and high-performing sales team across the Geozone while conducting quarterly performance reviews. - Liaise with Geozone Management to implement programs for business enhancement, client retention, and expansion. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant oilfield or business discipline. - 18 years of sales, product line, commercial operations, and country management experience. - 10 years in leadership positions with excellent mentoring and coaching abilities. - Strong experience successfully leading diverse teams in different locations. - Demonstrated resilience, persistence, and creativity in building trust with all stakeholders. - Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to relate and influence at all levels. - Experience in profit and loss management across multi-cultural areas. - Proven track record of delivering complex business projects in challenging environments. - Good technical knowledge of Weatherford product range and oilfield services.
