As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will provide expert geotechnical advice throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your diverse responsibilities will include conducting detailed site investigations, analysing soil and rock conditions, managing groundwater issues, and assessing slope stability. You will support project teams by interpreting subsurface data and delivering practical recommendations to ensure safe and effective ground engineering solutions. DUTIES. Perform geotechnical site investigations and field sampling Carry out soil, rock, and groundwater testing and logging Conduct in-situ tests such as SPT, DCP, and groundwater monitoring Assist with foundation and pavement assessments Liaise with clients and collaborate with senior engineers to support project delivery Prepare technical reports and document field findings Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on all field activities SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Proven local experience within a geotechnical consultancy Strong verbal and written communication skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Full driver’s license Hands-on experience with Geotechnical Investigations (GI), including site investigations, field sampling, and laboratory testing In-depth involvement in Construction Phase Services (CPS), such as site verification, foundation inspections, pile testing, and construction support to ensure compliance with design and safety standards CULTURE.
