The role requires someone that has a passion for developing new relationships and driving business forward within new markets and thinking outside of the box. Position - In this role you’re going to be targeting a huge list of customers but the general focus is targeting local councils, major fleets, large quarries, mining, forestry, Pipeline contractors, tradies and anyone else that could use earthmoving equipment. The direction is to maximise your territory by working with management in how to get the best out of your area. Planning and covering each area within the market but having your ear to the floor and talking to people is the key to your success, a large number of the others reps rely on talking with customer and keeping on top of their requirements but also understanding what projects are coming up in the future. Each sales is either sold through two directions 1 – Demonstration of the machine at the NSW office or if the customers wants the machine on site that can also be arranged. 2 – Marketing material and working through the specification of the machine with the customer to identify which machine is best for the project or customer requirement. Either or you need to have clear direction in machine specifications and what machine will operate in the best conditions with thee best attachments. You need to have a strong understanding and have the necessary skill set to work with high end customers. Territory – You will be covering all of Sydney North from the M4 to the Hawkesbury River, You will travel to far West to the Blue Mountains and this will encompass everything in between. Candidate Requirements – 3 Years’ Experience within Sales of Earthmoving Equipment Key relationships with the local markets and customers mentioned in the add Trade Qualified as Plant Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic would be ideal If you have sold Attachments, Earthmoving Parts or Machinery this would be fantastic, and knowledge or understanding of mobile equipment will go a long way. If you have a connection to civil construction Contractors market this would highly regarded Product Portfolio – In your section of products you have the following to work with and sell to customers. Tracked and Wheeled Excavators Material Handlers Compaction Rollers Tele Handlers Wheel Loaders Salary Package – On offer is a lucrative earning potential that can see you earn North of $180,000, Of course this means you’re going to have to work extremely hard and be all over the local projects and customers within your area. Base Salary - $100,000 to $110,000 Superannuation – 11.5% Company 4WD Phone and Laptop Fuel Card Uncapped Commission Structure (this will be discussed on interview) Company Training and Induction Courses Throughout the year there will be ongoing training and national conferences to attend plus each state has Friday afternoon’s catch ups, Christmas parties, field days and the list goes on.
