Data and AI Technical Specialist / Data Engineer — Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland

Green Light Australia are looking to engage Data and AI Technical Specialist to join their team. Some key responsibilities include: Understand, interpret, and implement architectural plans and implementation for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions leveraging Microsoft's suite of products. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines, ensuring their reliability and availability. Conduct performance tuning and optimisation of data processing and data storage systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data engineering solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines Testing-related activities corresponding to Data engineering Collaborate with other key stakeholders. To be shortlisted, you require the following skills and experience: Proven experience in similar roles as Data and AI Technical Specialist / Data Engineer for large complex environments. Proven experience with data lake/lakehouse/EDW, event streaming, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Notebooks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Purview, and API management. Good experience with Spark, CI/CD, and experience in using Code Management systems and DevOps automation, to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data engineering solutions. Strong technical skills in data engineering, data integration, and data architecture, with experience in data modelling, data warehousing, ETL, and data pipeline development. Strong experience in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R, with excellent knowledge of one or more data-centric languages/tools. Excellent communication skills. Apply Now!
