This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading Delivery Service Branch, eHealth Queensland is leading a program of work to modernise the Queensland Health Patient Administration Solution (PAS) across the state, including all 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHSs). The initiative is in the readiness phase focused on detailed planning, including delivering the program business case and accelerated implementation planning activities. Once approved, this exciting, multi-year, program of work will enhance patient engagement and access to services and support modern healthcare delivery for all Queenslanders. About the role: The PAS Readiness Project is responsible for progressing accelerated planning activities to support program initiation, which includes developing a detailed program implementation plan, definition of the procurement strategy, architecture blueprints, and the strategic change, engagement, and communication framework for the program. The initiative is seeking multiple Project Managers to lead work to support the definition of the program implementation plan, as well as program analysis deliverables within the Business Process and Analysis workstream. The Project Managers will be required to ensure the successful delivery and management of deliverables specific to their work area e.g.: define the scope and objectives of deliverables to support outcomes aligned to the program implementation plan and business process and analysis workstream (ensuring deliverables are fit for purpose for the program). managing the schedule and plan of deliverables to support the development of key program implementation, analysis and design activities for the program. engaging with program leads and the board to ensure the approach supports program objectives. leading engagements across the state, managing risks and adjusting the approach to ensure outcomes can be achieved. managing a team of analysis and/or subject matter expert (SME) resources to support definition of current and future state vision of the program in accordance with the delivery plan and aligned to the program business capability model. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of large scale, complex program/project(s) in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies. Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes. Oversee and manage the monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules. Manage project resources, expenses, and capital costs against the project forecasts. Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations. Within the context of the key responsibilities described above under '"About the Role', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Proven experience in the delivery of large-scale complex IM/ICT program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry (SFIA Skill: PRMG: Level 6). Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders. (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 6). Expertise in, and application of, appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 5).
