Your new role Workingfrom a home office and reporting to the Area Sales Director, the Regional SalesManageris responsible for generating leads andspecification pipeline of Tensar applications, by offering solutions toClients, Consultant Engineers and Contractors in construction markets such asCivil Engineering, Rail, Housebuilding, Landscape, etc. Mainresponsibilities are as follows: Communicate thebenefits of Tensar products and solutions to existing and potentialcustomers/influencers so as to grow the market knowledge of Tensar services. Workclosely with all members of the Tensar Distributor teamso as to providethe Tensar service offering to own customer base, while also influencingproject sales Developand execute business plans for the promotion and sale of Tensar products andsystems with an emphasis on driving utilization of Tensar software and TensarInterAx value-add solutions. Successfullyimplement bid strategies with their distribution partner to close business throughout the sales cycle and ensure customersatisfaction. Delivertechnical presentations and workshops at an appropriate level when required tomeet client needs and expand possible sales opportunities. Train,educate and provide technical support to distributors. Assist in driving localstrategies and programs and aid distributor partners in the capture of Tensarsales revenue. Identify,establish and manage private sector key accounts to leverage Tensar product andservice offerings. This would include,but not limited to, large site work contractors, resource extraction, renewableenergy, and commercial/industrial/data storage development companies. Provideproject site assessment, design assistance, pre-bid/post-bid actions (withcontractors) and site installation services as required. Regularlyand fully utilise Tensars Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in theupkeep and management of customer interaction, sales, and pipeline data. Frequentcollaboration with Regional Sales Director to define and refine regional valueproposition based upon local opportunity, material costs (asphalt, aggregate,chemical stabilization, competitive geosynthetics, etc.). What you'll need to succeed Relevantdegree level qualification Civil/Geotechnical/Pavement Engineering,Construction Management, and/or Businessdegree with relevant experience in construction estimating Excellentcommunication skills, able to bridge the gap between selling with a solutionsfocus and providing technical information that is easily understood by thoseinvolved. Commercialawareness of the construction sector. Abilityto maintain a high level of professionalism when conducting all activitiesrelevant to the position, including representing Tensar at external conferences& events. Experienceworking with distribution, and experience in consultative selling or businessdevelopment in the construction industry strongly desired. Good ITskills with practical experience of Microsoft Office, CRM and other datamanagement systems or Understands the benefits of, and successfully utilises,appropriate IT systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM. Stronginterpersonal skills and ability to become a trusted business advisor with keybusiness decision-makers.
