As a key partner in the RAS executive management team, you'll have the opportunity to lead financial and IT strategy while also making an impact on the day-to-day operations of RAS. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (Master’s or CA/CPA) 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or CFO-level role Proven experience leading finance, shared services, and IT functions Strong understanding of financial regulation, risk management, and compliance Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills Demonstrated success in driving change, operational improvement, and profitability Experience and genuine interest in technological growth, data strategies, cyber security and information technology General Manager, Finance and Administration plays a critical part in supporting the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) and the Chief Executive by overseeing the delivery of key corporate services, including Finance, Information Technology, Membership, Competitions Administration & Systems, and General Administration. The position also has direct oversight of the Australian Animal Registry (AAR), ensuring it operates efficiently and in alignment with industry standards. Key responsibilities within this role include but are not limited to: Finance & Administration: Includes financial management, reporting, preparation of budgets, preparation of comprehensive variance analyses, compliance and governance Information Technology: Focuses on strategic leadership, service excellence, operational efficiency, and system competitiveness RAS Membership Portfolio: Provides strategic and operational oversight of all membership administration processes, ensuring that systems, procedures, and communications are efficient and accurate Australasian Animal Registry (AAR): Encompasses leadership, operational alignment, and market competitiveness Competitions Administration & Systems: Covers oversight, cost efficiency, and system modernisation General Management: Entails executive leadership, staff management, communication, governance and representation on committees and cub committees and organisational support Our Values Respect | Ownership | Achievement | Honouring our Past | Embracing our Future How to Apply… Please complete the requested work history & education information on the application page.
