About the team Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. About the role: The Engineering Excellence Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining a high standard of engineering delivery across multiple platform engineering teams by developing a strong “platform as a product” delivery framework and tooling to enable engineering teams to deliver at pace, with quality. The Engineering Excellence Lead will identify areas for improvement, and driving a culture of continuous improvement, while creating delivery efficiency though a holistic collaboration of the platform engineering team, ensuring On Time, On Budget and quality delivery of features or services to customers. Key responsibilities include: Define and implement delivery standards, methodologies, ways of working and frameworks to guide engineering teams and initiatives execution and ensure consistency across the 20 technology platforms. Support the execution of a multi-year program to uplift delivery excellence through the deployment of standards, tooling, governance, communities and other supporting deliverables to improve delivery capability done in an iterative way to demonstrate value quarterly. Training of new TMs into the Technology function to ensure consistency of standards, patterns, frameworks and tools. Implement consistent templates across delivery for key control deliverables e.g. Business Requirements, data mapping, interface design, internal and external documentation and communication. Provide assurance against delivery standards and guidance / coaching on corrective actions. Develop and implement a roadmap for tooling to support the delivery framework and ways of working Identify opportunities to streamline and optimise delivery processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. About you and your skills: 8 years of experience in Technology Delivery roles, with proven ability to design, implement and embed ways of working to optimise delivery effectiveness . Demonstrated experience in defining and delivering operational excellence across the engineering and DevSecOps practices Be able to work collaboratively with all teams including Developers, Engineers, Testers, Technical Leads, Project Managers, IT Leadership and business stakeholders to ensure that engineering practices are fit for purpose Proven experience delivering engineering, platform as a product transformation and enablement transitions for ways of working Organisational Change Management experience when delivery changes to ways of working Experience in multiple delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Clarity. Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology and change delivery Proven experience in simplification/transformation that creates customer focus through a combination of people, process and technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience of executing through others, specifically creating a common vision and influencing peers and squads towards executing against it. LI-DIG3 What’s in it for you?
