Senior Enterprise Services Engineer — Adelaide Airport, West Torrens Area

The Senior Enterprise Service Engineer is a key position in the technology team, directly building and supporting technology within a mission critical environment. The individual will be an infrastructure expert with substantial experience in several key domains. A person who understands that delivery requires ownership and collaboration and who only wants to innovate and create highly operationally secure and resilient solutions. Technical Drive the adoption of new technologies and provide strategic thinking to the group Ensure all products, services and procedures are highly secure Ensure all assets are highly available and appropriately monitored Design, provision, support and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure Drive the successful completion of business and Secure IT projects Ensure all assets are hardened and patched appropriately on a regular basis through automation Support the administration of the company’s cloud infrastructure Secure access to AAL in partnership with other IT technical teams Research and participate in the procurement of relevant infrastructure, systems and services Working closely with network and data centre support, maintain, test and update disaster recovery procedures for server and storage infrastructure Work collaboratively with support partners to ensure the timely delivery of services in compliance with agreed several levels Support the review of policies and procedures that manage relevant technology assets, systems and services Support the ongoing improvement in AAL’s cyber security posture, including participation in risk management and business continuity reviews Team Mentor team members and provide thought leadership to the Secure IT team Bring a collaborative, can-do mindset to the team and contribute to the advancement of the Secure IT team’s workplace culture Build strong partnerships and relationships across the business Supply technical advice, guidance and work scope information to technology project enquiries Regularly review industry trends to ensure that the team is aware of best practice thinking on relevant infrastructure, systems and services Actively contribute to the planning for the obsolescence, renewal or expansion of infrastructure, systems and services to ensure the team continues to satisfy business needs and service expectations Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace Comply with the WHS Responsibility Guidelines Comply with the Environmental Responsibility Procedure Live the AAL Values A Be ACCOUNTABLE and AUTHENTIC I Conduct ourselves with INTEGRITY R Be RESPONSIVE, efficient and RESPECTFUL P Take PRIDE in our achievements O Be OPEN and friendly and encourage diversity R Build RELATIONSHIPS based on trust T Foster great TEAMS QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate related studies or certificates, either achieved or in progress, noting that demonstrated industry experience (refer below) is essential EXPERIENCE Minimum 10 years’ experience with Microsoft Active Directory or Entra Minimum 10 years’ experience with virtualisation Minimum 5 years’ Azure environment administration Minimum 10 years’ experience with enterprise server, storage and backup technology Experience working within a technology team in a complex or critical infrastructure organisation Applications close 5pm, Friday 23 May
