About the role This is a varied and highly rewarding position for someone who enjoys meaningful work and engaging with people from all walks of life, where every day will bring meaningful interactions. You will ensure the reception area runs smoothly, provide essential information and support to visitors, you will work closely with volunteers and colleagues to maintain a safe, professional, and supportive experience for all who walk through the doors. Key responsibilities include Welcoming and assisting visitors with accessing services and support Managing reception calls, emails, records, and day-to-day admin Supporting and guiding reception volunteers in collaboration with the Volunteer Team Maintaining reception materials, brochures, and resources Coordinating mail, supplies, and basic facilities upkeep Working closely with operations teams to uphold a safe and calm environment Ensuring privacy, compliance, and organisational protocols are followed About you You are a natural communicator with warmth, empathy, and strong organisational instincts. You have likely worked in community services, administration and front-of-house roles where you understand the importance of confidentiality, compliance, and care. Your skillset includes, being proactive, juggling multiple priorities, supporting others, and always leading with compassion. To thrive in this role, you will need: Admin or customer service experience in a community or high-traffic setting Confidence working in vulnerable environments Strong multitasking, organisation, and interpersonal skills A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) Police Check A values-driven approach aligned with inclusivity and respect Why MOVE?
