Renewable Energy Innovation Engineer Assess current solar PV facility procurement and construction processes and prioritise areas for improvement/cost reduction. Identify and Assess available technologies on the market to support efficiency improvement and cost reduction targets. Provide preliminary reports recommending any technologies to progress to in-field trials, covering proposed scope, schedule, budget, risks, mitigations and KPI’s for the trial. Incorporate trial into existing project estimate templates and compare benefits/risks. Manage commercial negotiations with proposed technology providers. Oversee delivery and reporting for the trials, within existing solar PV installation projects. Manage all reporting requirements (internally and with any related government entities etc). Preferred Experience: Engineering Degree or related. Demonstrated experience and capability in project delivery and package management etc. Experience in the delivery of solar PV projects or other renewable energy projects advantageous but not strictly necessary. Solid understanding of related disciples, eg civil earthworks, Mechanical design & installation and Electrical design and installation.
