Project or Senior Project Mechanical/Electrical Engineer Location: Sydney, NSW Duration: 3 Month Temporary Contract (potential extension) Start Date: 1-2 weeks Project: Wastewater Treatment Plant (Tender Phase) Employer: Principal Contractor About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Project or Senior Project Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to join a principal contractor's team during the tender phase of a major wastewater treatment plant project. This is a short-term contract role with a focus on process design and verification of mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects . Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the process design and verification of M&E systems for the wastewater treatment plant. Work closely with design teams to ensure specifications meet industry standards and project requirements. Conduct technical reviews and provide input into design optimization and cost-effectiveness. Assist in the development of tender documentation and technical submissions. Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory compliance. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in water infrastructure projects, particularly wastewater treatment plants . Strong background in process design and M&E verification . Familiarity with Australian standards and water industry regulations .
