Technical Enablement Lead Engineer Contract to 13/10/2025| Brisbane CBD & Work from Home Join a global mining firm as a Technical Enablement Lead Engineer , you will join a global technology organisation pioneering innovation in the resource industry and committed to building capability and developing leadership in our people. Key responsibilities of the role: Technical Leadership : Provide expert guidance and direction in the design, development, and implementation of the multi-cloud data lake project. Technical Development : Design and build out new use cases for ingesting data into the platform, working hands on with the team to develop to a high standard. Project Management: Lead and manage the technical aspects of the project, including planning, execution, and delivery, while adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable plans. Stream Product Ownership : Oversee the development and integration of various development streams within the Lakehouse project, ensuring seamless coordination and high performance. Quality Assurance : Establish and maintain robust development practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration, to ensure the reliability and scalability of the platform. Innovation : Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and Lakehouse architecture to continuously improve the platform. About you: Extensive experience in data engineering, architecture, with a focus on systems integration, software development, and governance. Proven track record of leading technical development projects and teams. Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, SQL). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Have a deep understanding/interest of big data current and emerging technologies, e.g. Databricks, data warehousing, Azure Synapse and Data Factory Spark, AWS Athena and EMR Why apply through Lime Recruitment?
