Technology and Digital Engineering Manager — Fortitude Valley, Brisbane

Technology and Digital Engineering Manager Queensland Government-owned corporation, Sunwater is planning for the construction of a new dam wall immediately downstream from the existing Paradise Dam on the Burnett River. The project is a large, multi-year project that will ensure a safe and secure water supply for the Bundaberg region for future generations. This role is part of the Paradise Alliance, formed by Sunwater to deliver the Paradise Dam Improvement Project, with CPB Contractors / Georgiou appointed as major construction partner and GHD as the ongoing design partner. What you’ll do (but not limited to): Develop, implement, and manage all aspects of technology & digital engineering delivery on PDIP. This role focuses on enhancing production efficiency, ensuring safety, and reducing costs through innovative digital solutions The Technology & Digital Engineering Manager will design and develop digital subsystems, integrate them within various project components, and leverage autonomous robots to improve construction processes Conducting research and development in collaboration with key stakeholders and possessing knowledge of software programming Implement and maintain digital engineering technology, including data interoperability and information exchange processes What you’re good at: Experience in managing digital engineering through the design and construction phases of major infrastructure projects A strong foundation in software programming and/or implementation with an understanding on how to bridge the gap between technology and practical project needs Ability to think outside the box and develop effective digital delivery strategies that align with project goals from concept to completion Strong management and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence, engage, and align stakeholders across all project stages.
