$95,187 - $108,734 10% BDCP up to 15.4% Superannuation Adelaide - SA, Canberra - ACT, Sydney CBD - NSW The Role The Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is seeking professional, motivated and APS6 Engineering Professionals to support Projects to deliver cutting edge capability. You will be part of a dynamic team overseeing the Design, Development, Installation and Testing of Maritime Integrated Warfare systems. This may include the conduct or observation of testing activities either in manufacturing plants, at the waterfront or out at sea. Ideally, you will have a maritime background, with experience across one or more of the following; systems engineering, uncrewed systems, acoustics, electrical, combat systems, software and communications engineering. Experience in requirements engineering, test and evaluation, or systems reviews are also desirable. As an APS 6 Engineer, you will report directly to an EL1 Engineering Manager. Some of your key duties may include: Review, analysis and interpretation; undertaking assessments, technical investigations, design and development, verification and validation and testing in support of mandated system review activities across the Capability Life Cycle. Ensure operational, cyber and security, safety, and environmental aspects of the mission system are incorporated into the system design. Ensure establishment of capability baselines and conducting assurance activities for a wide range of maritime capabilities. Management of materiel risk Preparation of technical plans and technical risk assessments, using tools such as TRMS. Largely, you will work to deliver complex capability through planning, organisation control and integration.
