Asset and Data Engineer - Electrical Brisbane based 12 month contract $46.21 - $58.64 per hour Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering excellence in electrical and ITS projects? Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a critical role in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of major infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. Key Responsibilities: Design, plan, and oversee electrical and ITS systems for infrastructure and maintenance projects. Provide technical guidance to field teams and support project delivery with engineering expertise. Ensure all electrical systems comply with AS/NZS3000 and relevant regulatory standards. Conduct system assessments, prepare documentation, and liaise with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Support safety initiatives by integrating engineering controls and reviewing system risks. What You’ll Bring: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; RPEQ registration or eligibility preferred. Experience: Experience in the delivery of maintenance services in either an Electrical, Traffic Signal or ITS field of discipline. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination abilities. Knowledge: Solid understanding of council and DTMR standards, and experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems within regulated networks. It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
