Unite Construction is assisting a national tier 2 builder to recruit a Contract Administrator to join the team on a landmark $100M education development located on the Gold Coast. Great opportunity to join a genuine high-performing commercial construction team delivering one of the region’s most exciting upcoming projects. Working under the guidance of two highly experienced Senior Contract Administrators, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of this project, overseeing the full lifecycle of contract management and procurement. You will also take on a leadership role by supporting and mentoring a Contract Administrator Cadet. Role & Responsibilities Join a dynamic and well-respected Tier 2 builder delivering high-profile, complex projects. Report directly to two Senior CAs and support project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. Manage and lead procurement of subcontractor packages. Oversee the administration of head contracts (both upstream and downstream). Ensure compliance with contract terms, manage variations, and assess progress claims and payments. Actively resolve contractual issues and support project reporting and forecasting. Key Skills/Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in construction management, quantity surveying or relevant field Proven experience as a Contract Administrator on large-scale commercial projects, ideally over $50M in value. Strong background in procurement, contract negotiation, and subcontractor management. Excellent understanding of contract law and construction contract administration processes. A confident communicator who thrives in a team environment and takes initiative. Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
