Fixed Term – Parental Leave Contract (Start Late June 2025 – Aug 2026) Shift: 4:00pm – 8:00pm, 7-day rotating roster, 28.0 hours per fortnight An opportunity has become available for a motivated individual with excellent customer service skills to join our Emergency Department team in a fixed term parental leave backfill position. This position involves 7 x 4-hour afternoon shifts across a 14-day rotating roster, including every second weekend. Evening shift allowance apply for each afternoon shift. Weekend shifts attract 50% loading, and public holidays attract 100% loading. There may be opportunity to continue in a modified role beyond August 2026 depending on service needs. The Position: In this role, you will be based in the Emergency Department providing administrative support to both the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit during the late afternoon shift. Key to this role is providing outstanding customer service to patients, families, consumers, and colleagues with a person-centred approach that is professional, approachable, responsive, and compassionate at all times.
