Your new role This advertisement calls for candidates for multiple local councils across Melbourne in the following roles within landfill and other waste management departments: Civil Plant Operator - skid steers, excavators, front end loaders and forklifts Waste Driver - driving variations of Heavy Rigid waste trucks (rear loader compactor, side arm loader, hook lift)Waste All-Rounder - combination of both civil plant operating and driving What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience working in waste management environments (waste transfer stations, landfills, kerbside rubbish collection, street cleansing or other)Ticketed and experienced on the above civil plant machineryMinimum MR truck licence (HR highly desirable)Clear Police Check (completed with Hays)Experience working in high-pressure team environmentsExperience working in a local council is highly desirable (not mandatory).
