NSW Staging Engineer — Frenchs Forest, Warringah Area

Our NSW office is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staging Engineer to join our Technical Deployment team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the preparation, testing, and configuration of AV/UC systems before they are deployed to client sites. This is a vital position that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet the highest standards of reliability and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Configure and test AV and UC system's according to project specifications Validate hardware and software for performance, reliability, and deployment readiness Simulate full solutions in a controlled environment to identify and address potential issues Conduct quality control checks and validate returned materials (RMAs) Document system configurations, test results, and lessons learned Collaborate with Development and Deployment teams to ensure seamless project handovers Support the Staging Supervisor and assist in training junior team members. Key Experience & Capabilities: Minimum 2 years of experience in AV staging, configuration, or a related technical role Diploma or degree in Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field is preferred Proficient in configuring AV systems (e.g., displays, projectors, DSPs, control systems) Familiarity with testing tools and diagnostic software Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills CCNA certification required, and other AV certifications are advantageous.
