.NET/SharePoint Engineer — South Yarra, Stonnington Area

Iconic, Australian Enterprise SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React .NET Framework/.NET 8, Developing Azure Functions We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong understanding of the digital application landscape. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting, maintaining, and evolving a SharePoint-based retail messaging application. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you’ll help deliver reliable digital products and services across a broad retail network. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions using React. Build and optimise Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps to automate business processes. Develop and maintain .NET-based web applications and Azure Functions. Integrate applications with CosmosDB (NoSQL) for efficient data access and management. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and high-performing. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and .NET applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions. Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Stay up to date with developments across the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems. Continuously improve application performance, stability, and usability. Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, SPFx, and React. Proficient in Power Automate and Logic Apps for workflow automation. Solid experience with .NET Framework and .NET 8, including Azure Function development. Hands-on experience with CosmosDB and NoSQL data integration. Good understanding of REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and modern authentication methods. Proficient in PowerShell scripting (including SharePoint Online and PnP PowerShell). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps or GitLab, and Git version control. Power BI experience is a bonus. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Familiarity with secure coding practices and data protection principles.
