About the Role Are you ready to inspire our Non-emergency Patient transport and Emergency Health Care Students? Our (HLT31120) Certificate III in Non-emergency Patient Transport and (HLT51020) Diploma of Emergency Health Care programs are currently seeking a teacher who can inspire and equip our students with current knowledge and skills within the scope that is expected within industry. You will achieve this by showcasing your teaching and facilitation skills in an adult learning environment. An example of duties you will perform include: Planning, preparing, and delivering the lesson plan and assessment of student performance and learning activities in accordance with the department's assessment tools Fostering a working environment that is respectful to all students and staff Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment Monitoring student progression and attendance throughout their learning journey Contributing to the continuous improvement for the course by being involved with the design, development and validation of its training and assessment resources. Maintaining accurate course and student records according to organisational and regulatory requirements This is a 12 month, fixed-term role at 0.7 FTE working 26.6 hours per week. The salary ranges from $88,582 to $112,324 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience and qualifications, plus 11.5% superannuation. About You To be successful in this role, you will need: A completed TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 with required upskill units TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A Hold a relevant vocational/industry qualification at the level of the courses or above and have teaching experience either in a TAFE or an RTO Maintains currency in industry and understands the scope of a PTO and/or ATA You must hold a valid E (employee) Class Working with children Check to be able to undertake this role or be willing to obtain one.
